DUBAI-BASED GAC has been named 'Best Ship Agent' at the 16th ShipTek International Awards in recognition of the group's consistently high standards of service, as well as its environmental and safety compliance amid a challenging global environment.
The award, which was received by GAC marketing manager Maria Angelidou in Athens, Greece, recognises companies that have made significant contributions to the global maritime industry.
It is the fourth time that GAC has received the award, following wins in 2018, 2019 and 2021, notes Hellenic Shipping News Worldwide.
"We are proud to receive this acknowledgment for our dedicated and industry leading ship agency services once again," said GAC operations chief Lars Hardeland.
