Turkish Cargo named world's 4th biggest air cargo firm

TURKISH Cargo is now fourth among top global air freighters in June, reports Istanbul's Daily Sabah.

Turkish Cargo declared its market share stood at 4.8 per cent, while overall air freighter market shrunk 6.9 per cent.

"This success achieved by Turkish Cargo demonstrates our commitment to make Turkey the heart of the air cargo industry in the world," said Turkish Airlines chairman Ahmet Bolat.

The freighter firm's goal is to become one of the top three air cargo brands in 2025, with global revenue of US$3.5 billion and a logistics ecosystem worth $2 billion.

Turkish Cargo reaches over 340 destinations with a fleet of 383 aircraft, 20 of which are dedicated freighters.
