SF Airlines launches China-Pakistan cargo route

23rd January, 2024

SF Airlines, China's largest air cargo carrier, inaugurated a new air cargo route connecting Ezhou Huahu Airport in Hubei province with Lahore in Pakistan, reports Xinhua.

This marks the first international air cargo route launched by SF Airlines in the current year departing from Ezhou Huahu Airport, recognised as China's premier cargo-focused hub.

Operating three weekly round-trip air cargo flights between Ezhou and Lahore, this initiative is set to provide 300 tons of air express capacity per week.

The service aims to bolster logistics between China and Pakistan by offering efficient and stable air transport services.

Ezhou Huahu Airport, operational since July 2022, is a pivotal cargo hub with significant and limited passenger traffic. Notably, in April 2023, it inaugurated its initial international cargo route.

SF Airlines, the aviation arm of SF Express, a leading courier enterprise in China, has already established a total of 11 international cargo routes from Ezhou to various global destinations, demonstrating its commitment to expanding and enhancing air cargo connectivity.
