CMA CGM adds US$200/TEU - $500/reefer levy Africa-Far East

FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM has levied a peak season surcharge from January 1 on cargo from Africa North range to the Far East until further notice, the company announced.

The increase adds US$200 per TEU and $500 per reefer TEU and will apply to cargo from North Africa including Senegal, Mauritania, Gambia and Guinea Bissau bound for the Far East.
