WorldACD weekly air cargo posts upward trend

26th December, 2023

GLOBAL air cargo demand has experienced a substantial recovery, surpassing levels from the previous year, reports the American Journal of Transportation.

This resurgence is primarily attributed to robust export volumes from China.

The preliminary data for November indicates a year-on-year increase of five per cent, and a month-on-month increase of one per cent.

When considering combined tonnages for the peak period of October and November, the figures show a notable three per cent elevation compared to the same period last year.
